Local relatively large elevator has a contract called a "Basis Delivered" contract. You deliver grain, lock in your basis and have to price it by a certain date. When you sign the contract, they pay you 75% of that day's cash price and the balance when you set the CBOT price.
Pretty close to what you're saying, but the pricing window is smaller than what you're suggesting.
