Mizzoura | are there any elevators that offer to pay a percentage up front for corn that is going to be put into DP? i got a call from a local elevator this week saying they would take corn and offer free DP on it. i said ok, i'll let you know if i'm interested. I was thinking of calling them back and saying that i'd start delivering if they would cut me a check for $2 a bushel as soon as the last was delivered and then i'd set the price on the rest before the first of august. anyone ever heard of anything like this or am i just being greedy/unreasonable? | |
