Arthur IL | I think it can work both ways if you pay him by the day he gets paid no matter the performance .i get paid on gain somewhat . I keep track of all feed used in each group and have a set per lb yardage charge . And all dead calves stay in the in weight makes me put al effort in to treat sick calves . Knock on wood that helps maintain our less then 1% death loss. However you do it both parties have to win. Coming from the feeder side with a fair per gain agreement I can make more money from my efforts. | |
