Please see my below thread. Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.

There is definitely a bad wing to the "good food" movement. That wing is practicing ancient Baal worship and rebranding it. It contains 3 elements - child sacrifice, sexual promiscuity, and environmental worship. This is all prominent today.

Our inherent sin nature has caused greed and power to take over in food production as well as other areas.

Healthy plants are naturally insect & disease resistant. God uses these organisms to destroy food that is unfit for humans. He did not give Adam & Eve a backpack sprayer!

The argument on whether we should use organic or conventional pesticides is way off the mark, as is most of this discussion. We as men are operating way off track of God's original perfect plan for our food. At end of the day, we need to keep our perspective aligned with His and not worry about who the bigger sinner is. We all need Him!
