East Arkansas | Farmerbk... Case in point with rice, we irrigate the crop every year and in an abnormally dry year we don't let the crop go without water so we just spend more money pumping. In our situation we normally produce a decent to good crop but our costs can go through the roof. So far there hasn't been an insurance policy to help with that.
Also our rates are higher for some reason, seemed like a good trade direct payments for yalls big insurance subsidies.
