Holly Grove Arkansas | Back to the original question, I have offered several of my corn belt friends to trade my direct payments for the government cost of their crop insurance on an acre for acre bases. They could have kept their direct payment and had mine too in exchange for the government cost of their crop insurance. I didn't find any takers.
Govt payments have made up approx 5% of my gross. Direct payment are gone as perhaps they should. I'm not losing any sleep over the loss of direct payments. | |
