Nebraska aka the boondocks | It is amazing how people use different methods to end up at the same place. I looked at Graintrader's and 1586's formulas and then looked at my cash rents and, Walla! That is where mine are at and I have never heard of those formulas before, I guess all roads lead to Rome, LOL. When people talk about cash rent, they really need to also talk about avg. or expected yields. The rent numbers are meaningless by themselves. Obviously if I am paying $300 rent on 150 bu. ground my opinion would be different on that kind of rent compared to 240 bu. irrigated ground. |
