I'm puzzled. For years its been said that USDA hasn't taken DDGs into consideration. If they haven't, then why haven't they? Are they just too lazy? DDGs and soymeal should be the easiest commodities to track of any, I mean how many places produce it or other similar feedstuffs like the gluten from wet milling? And how many companies export the stuff in a volume that matters? Its not as though there are a million producers making the stuff and exporting it. No it wouldn't give a complete answer to the number the USDA comes up with for feed and residual, but it would clarify one component of it for whatever that's worth.
