Yes John, I have no first hand knowledge at this point ( I'm working on it) My reasoning is, Jon is not the only one making the case for negative carryover, we have an inversion, we have expensive/unreliable rail, the southeast shipped heavily last summer to keep the pipeline flowing so they will need beans.
You are a pretty sharp guy John, what would you do if you were an eastern seaboard feeder? I would say I don't think there's a chance we will run out of beans but I want nothing to do even with that perception. I can book SA beans now with the inverted price. SA logistics maybe not much worse then NA rail. Keep the purchase under wraps until next summer as we approach the basis cliff and then say BTW Midwest "We're good"
