As for Econ 101 yes I would expect corn acres in Brazil to drop. BUT that same ECON 101 tells us they will plant a manure pile more of beans. As our price rallied $2.50 ZSX in the month of August toss in the dollar/REAL and that was a carrot the size of Texas to plant beans. ECON 101 work just as will whether bullish OR bearish.
As for hedgie,,,at times he gets on my nerves too....... But even this post that no one seem to like has truth in it. This post reminding me to look at shipping rates
