+1 haystax. You corn farmers get back to me when 60% or more of your monthly earnings go to one certain commodity. (Grain) Im ok with 3.50-4.00$ dollar corn, everyone needs to make some $ but 7-8 dollar corn is a joke. It’s like 10+$/gal for fuel, run your operation with that fuel cost and then we might be in the same ballpark. I grow 2,500ac of corn silage; don’t cry to me about inputs. Plenty of money to be made at 3.50-4.00$. Spring to fall you guys might do it all, but we 365days and still do your job. We make more decisions in one day then you guys do in those 7-8 months. Relax and take care of your end users, because we here forever... E might not be Don't you think the midwestern drouth had anything to do with $7 corn? Why does everyone blame ethanol when it was fricken WEATHER! You have your $4 corn now. |
