Financial news went over this same issue this morning.
IF congress ( ever does anything, btw ) gets the feeling this e issue thing needs addressed to thus provide re election kicks for those running in 2014, things might change some regarding corn ethanol policy.
keep in mind ethanol was originally mandated in 2004.
rfs passed in 2007.
BOTH those dates are coincidently related to re election at those times.
Is there enough "bunny hugger" carry now to overlap a lot of general public votes on this?
MAYBE.
we'll see.
( it's pretty dumb for the epa to be making sole ethanol policy now anyway.
the epa raising the mandate to 15% is a BAD deal for everyone. MO )
usa perhaps forgot the English language over time.
it's the legislative branch of government that is supposed to legislate policies.
letting a department of the govt set sole policy ( under the guise of law????JEEZ ) is totally irresponsible ( on every usa citizen's part too ).
