Cost of getting domestic crude oil?

Previously they drilled one down hole 6000-10000 feet and pumped it. Now they drill one down hole and 24 horizontals then pump in 2-3 million gallons of fracking fluid which then is removed. That's got to increase the cost of extracting the gas & oil.
I've spent some time today trying to locate some actual figures as to cost extracting & refining petroleum products and it is more difficult than I thought it would be.
About the only thing I've found so far is this graphic where I've circled the comparison of different ethanol sources and gasoline. If you take into account the solar energy to produce corn-ethanol it does take substantially more energy to make than petroleum-derived gasoline but if you count only the fossil fuel component of ethanol production it isn't nearly as bad as some people want to make out.
