Subject: Re: Drago corn heads

This is my first year with a 2013 8 row Drago. I would say if I would have sold my CIH 3408 for scrap and bought a Drago two years ago I would have the Drago paid for. We seem to have more downed corn the last few years the Drago was great. The CIH when damp shelled corn at the head like an old New Idea corn picker we used years ago.
The down side I see is Mobil EP 0 grease you need to use or as I call it snot. By the time you are finished greasing the head you are greased too. It is a little higher maintenance to keep the deck plates free, but for the job it does it is worth it. Overall very pleased.
