Dont know the exact operating RPM off hand. Deere would fall off after 1700, Claas stays strong over 1500 and will bounce back from 3 digit rpms, Deere died completely at 1600. Again not a fair comparison as there are many factors, the only thing Im trying to show is that basing a purchase on engine configuration alone and discrediting it before trying it is not very good business knowledge. Just because a 3406 will outpull an 8v92 doesnt mean all vees are weak. Locomotives are mostly vee engines, many ships are as well. |
