southern MN
My neighbor complemented me on how good my beans looked last week, as he was combining oats next to them.

A very good yield on my clay peat wet soils is anything over 40, so not sure if I help or hurt national averages either way. ;)

Corn looks good in my close neighborhood, but is hardly past pollination, so there is a long ways to go with a short time to get there on many fields. Theow in the total shut off of rainfall now, Could be a bin buster or a train wreck, both are good possibilities. This weeks heat wave is good for the deep soil areas to push the crop along, but going to be heck on the sandier fields with no moisture.

I hear what you are saying, we all get into feisty mode here, not just offer reasonable opinions and go from there.....
