I am going to try same thing. Profit on corn and beans gonna start heading south with prices where they are on that poor ground. I was going to plant a grass mix. Agronomist says i should put in 10# alfalfa. I dont realy understand why though i dont think alfalfa will make it more than a year or two. I like the idea of breaking up work load also plus high demand for that type hay here in wisc
