baler brian, is correct. There are times when ground will become live. You can use unshielded ground open air but not in conduit. All grounds should be well away from any milking facility, because of stray voltage. Also stay from power company grounds, all wires thru buildings and wall should be in conduit with shielded wire Good luck and Good grazing
