Went with open cell after getting a third quote which was $200 cheaper than the othe open cell quote and $700 cheaper than the closed cell fg insulation quote. Probably the biggest factor was the guy could get in there and get it done so we didn't have to hold the carpenter off any longer. Guy filled the wall cavity which was 6-7 inches.
