Western Nebraska | We are in a brand inspection area and we can't sell a load of cattle without an inspection. Even when we sell on the video the inspector is here the day we load watching every calf go on the truck. Every single one of our calves are branded as soon as they are dry enough to burn the hair. It is a good form of identification, but to my knowledge it has been quite a while since we have had trouble in this area with rustling.
