Napanee, Ontario | +1 ....never heard of a holstien gaining better on what you feed beef cattle. They're called beef cattle for a reason. Sure, if you want to TMR in supplements and other high cost feed, anything will do good. We have guys up the road we call experimental farmers. They keep complaining how they don't make any money on beef like they used to in dairy, but then go run the TMR for 2 hours a day at 2400 rpm with their dairy ration.... hmmmmm..... | |
