| No way do what you know. Personally we have fed both and make a lot more money feeding steins. Every operation is different if you have feeding Holsteins figured out then you need to do that. I know at first glance everyone says coloreds is the way to go but I believe in Holsteins once we figured out how to feed them. If your banker is telling you what to do and will only approve his agenda then it is time to move on to somewhere else his job is to decide if it is a profitable and viable financial plan not to tell you what kind of cattle and what feeds to use those decisions are yours to make. | |
