I got elected to help get the back of the church finished for the kids......made every meeting and got things done....
About the time my term was up...... Somebody had the bright idea to re-elect me.....
I showed up to the first meeting after to protest the vote.......haven't been back since.....
They tried to say it was a "unanimous vote"...... I felt obligated to point out, there was one dissenting vote........MINE.
I enjoy helping out......but I like a purpose.....not just another yah/nah type guy..... |
