t-boss - 4/14/2013 19:49 It looks like the hair is standing up on the tail head of that cow in the second pic. Am I seeing that right? What I have found is that there are some cows where the hair is all up "hard". Those seem to be all bulls so far. The cows with some hair up and some down have been all heifers, as #24 in the second pic. I'm not sure there is any relevance after calving. I have lost track of the scoreboard but the ones that were clearly all up are all bulls. The rest are maybe open to interpretation. May be one of those things that need a couple years observation and experience to have a degree of confidence, fwiw. Jim
