Didn't matter in some of my tenant's fields, Worms ate the refuge seed before it could sprout. Every gap when dug turned up the refuge colored seed hull, very empty.

This issue would occur whether you had RIB or planted refuge in a block unless you planned on applying insecticde on refuge block.
