| I think your attorney is right, again though without seeing the entire contract its hard to be 100% sure, but generally notification period trumps all other clauses. Yes he can sell it whenever and doesn't have to notify you that it is for sale, but that doesn't mean that you lose the right to farm it. If you were getting ready to plant and pulled into the field that clause wouldn't mean anything either.
But then again though it depends on the amount of land and how much you really want to farm it. Might be best just for him to flip you X amount for not farming it this year. | |
