nebraska | I agree at least scan the lease. Lets read it you can mark out the names, legal and price. I would say if you have a lease you are good to go. I really think if you have a written lease the start and stop dates are written into the lease. At least thats the way I read them. If my lease runs from march first to febuary 28 I think the landlord can let someone else farm it till he signs a new lease by march 1. I know in nebraska the September 1st deal people like to talk about but in my opion that should only count for verbal leases. I have kept farming ground after it was sold with written and verbal leases. I would think you would have known he was thinking about selling it maybe you did not have as good of relationship with this landlord as you thought. | |
