| It all depends on how the lease is worded. Is it a standard form lease from a university or State Bar association?
I've never heard of a lease that would prohibit the owner from selling... but if you didn't get notice of lease termination by the date specified by law (Sept 1st. in Iowa) I would assume you just have a new landlord for the season.
But if you've got a screwy, oddball lease agreement who knows? without reading it thoroughly. | |
