NCND | We calf in a farily wooded area, my dad does most of the roping, but it more like walk up behind the cow and toss, no fancy stuff here. A few times out of the box of the pick-up. Lots of times we get her roped and can't get dallyed off so the chase is on to see who can park there pickup on top of the rope first. I used to enjoy it but now not so much. There has been cows, calved here since the 40's, my dad is 70 and his true love is cows. I would prefer something alittle less stressful, on me and the cattle, but that won't happen till my dad retires which will be when he dies. | |
