I've never heard that one. Sounds like it could be one of those things that people just believe since you can make it 100% accurate if you second guess your diagnosis of how the hair was REALLY laying after the fact :)

Anyway, apparently you can sex the calf really accurately with the ultrasound at like 50 - 100 days bred.
