Admittedly I was a bit hard on you. But there are far easier ways for you and the calves. No.1 is calve in warm months. If you have only 3 years behind you put all the BS you have heard out of your mind and move forward. Do the best you can to warm the calf up, cow will claim him in time. A little warm colostrum will sure help. I have been there on calving in the winter and finally I got my stupid hat off and moved the dates. Ben
