One thing I have noticed with the claas is that it uses wider belts and they are likely more expensive and need wider laces. Neighbour has a claas and it will really bale hay. I have a 650 NH it works well, but I have problems starting bales in heavy hay or straw, untill I get bale to turn, then can go as fast as I can drive 9 was doing 8.5 mph in 18 foot windrow last week. I don't have the wide pickup or the stuffers either though. | |
