I 'll agree with the temp thing. We have 2 refrigerators, one in the kitchen and one in the basement, and just last Dec. had almost the same thing happen. The basement one is set close to freezing, sometimes milk in the back corner or a head of lettuce will freeze and as long as the milk hasn't been opened and is used within a few days it is still good well past the expiration date. MOST of the time.
How can this happen. milk way past it's date?
