central Ia | We rode an open car and get seats on the right hand side when going from Durango to Silverton. Right hand side is the river side left hand your next to the mountain. It was a nice day so we didn't get hardly any smoke or soot. We rode the train up and the bus down other wise it can be a long day taking the train up and back. We took the first train of the day bought tickets well in advance. It's a great ride. Mesa Verde is a nice palce to visit too since your that close. | |
