SW Manitoba | The drill stem is 3-4 ft deep depending on when we hit a rock. We always set the posts first then measure each section. Is quite a bit of work but it is good as long as the guy measuring the pipe reads the tape properly. I hate trying to fill a 1/4 inch gap with the stick, we usually have a pail full of old bolts or rod ready:-).
I am going to have to pass on the offer to buy the Limferd. We like to keep a few around to keep a little color in the herd;-).
