Buffalo IL | I have been calving in the pasture for several years. I have to still pull the plug and go to may calving myself. Most of mine start the last week of March and 1st part of April. May will work better in that I should be done planting corn and just have beans, spraying, and mowing hay. LOL The thing is on the Angus cross is if the cow feed cost is lowered with an easier lower cost to maintain cow.
