What's going to happen to the sows for the other 9 months of the year?

Also there must not be enough incentive for all those guys with corn on the ground to build fence to put the sows on.

Is that the fault of the owners of the sow farms?

How many open sows did you buy this fall to put out on stalks?      I'm thinking it should be in the 1000's if its that great of a money maker.   Should be able to hire help to do it and still make money, right?

If there is enough incentive sows will get fattened, if not (like currently) they will go straight from the farrowing room to the packing plant.
