They truth want no meat animals. If it wasn't for meat they would not have been born. We have used dry sow stalls since 1978 and they are the kindest home for a sow where she has her own space,food,water,ect. An abusive producer will be they way with stalls,free range or pens. Are culling -injury rate is 10x more in pens than stalls . Our past Ontario pork chair Curtiss Littlejohn stated its when the vocal minority makes the rules and we should be worrying about cancer,kids health,human welfare,ect (sorry don't have article in front of me) HJ Heinz,Tim Hortons,ect. all think they know how a pig should be raised .
