Never happened to me.......we don't try much new stuff in our extended family.....but if it looked or smelled gross, I just wouldn't put any on my plate. If it did happen, we would laugh it off, I'm pretty sure.
How bad could it be? In general, I will eat most anything that anybody else made. Just cuz I am basically lazy in the kitchen. Except I won't eat like oysters or weird stuff like that.
