I take a serving and choke it down with a smile. If it's a case of a recipe that didn't turn out right the person who cooked it knows it's bad and doesn't need me to tell them. They feel bad enough already.
If it's a case of something that's just not to my taste, same thing, eat it with a smile. Unless I'm asked I don't offer anything, but if I am I'd say something like, "that was really interesting, what was that breading on those deep fried brussels sprouts?" | |
