Saskatchewan | Have you considered the possibility that you overreacted in this situation?
You went to a budget motel. Where the maid most likely cannot go home until all the rooms are tended to. Poor maid comes to your country and works her whole life in hopes to offer her family a better shot at success. She gets crapped on every day because of somebody's "pet peeve". And then you want "satisfaction" of $20 (which I am assuming you were going to pass the savings on to your employer, and not pocket the difference).
Be thankful for everything you have (including your job), and LET IT GO!
