If the company is willing to pay for a better hotel I would stay at the better hotel. You get what you pay for. Also, maybe the maid needed/wanted to get home to her family? I admit 9:15 seems to be a little early to knock on the door. Should have to wait until 10:00 but maybe yours was the last room they needed to clean. Could have checked with the front desk to see who had checked out. Also, if we're in a room late I'll have the TV on so it sounds like someone is in the room and the maids don't knock. |
