SW North Dakota | Don't forget to ask if they want a living will for you to make medical decisions for them.. Also now is the time to get your name as joint owner on all checking, savings, and other accounts.. if their is a death nothing to do as far as probate, you are now the owner of those accounts, and also will give you the authority to write checks on their behalf for expences..I they own property now is the time to add names as joint owners.. I dont know your situation and how many siblings there are, but this needs to be worked out the sooner the better | |
