central - east central Minnesota -

150pilot - 11/19/2012 07:45 I have gotten quite a bit more bullish on ag long term, perhaps a bit too much so. Certainly we will continue to see up and down cycles and political, governmental and financial sector curve balls. But I would just like a sense of what you folks think about ag's profitability over the next 30 years. What has made me more bullish is a genuine international demand for ag goods that people/countries are actually able to pay for rather than counting on the old PL480 food for peace program, or other give away deals. Exponential growth in world population is the other biggie. Your thoughts?

Yes, more globel growth and need for protein / food. . . .  but, that will not garrentee profitable ag growth or demand. As ag continues to consolidate and evolve, the profit margins will continue to constrict. Today, ag is experenceing an anomaly - it is changeing back. The question is, who will get cought with their pants down and end up out of the game ?
