Subject: Re: Cereal Rye Before Corn Burndown/Preemerge

Martinsville, Ohio
I have used 4 to 5.6 oz of Corvus with or without 1-2 lb of atrazine. Atrazine is better for me later when the grass comes on after some heat and water.

I think planting date helped or hurt me worse than any alleopathy. Planted corn in short dead rye, medium dead rye and medium to tall live rye and it didn't matter as much as the planting date. My March planting was best, April almost as good and May was the worst on that report I made on here some time ago, same hybrids, 3 dates 2 months apart.

I like Gramoxone for a burndown heated up with Sencor and a little atrazine with enough paraquat rate to kill the age and mass of the crop and enough water to cover it.
I don't want 28 in that. 28 really reduces the effectiveness of glyphosate in my opinion.
