Darke Co. Ohio | I rebiult a MF 1155 years ago and did not get it broke in right. The mechanic at the little local dealer told me that I could re-ring the cyl. and hone, or dust it. We have a old M&W dyno so we dusted it with COMET scouring powder, a whole container. Pulled it as hard as we could with cardboard in front of the radiator, to keep it good and hot. Pulled it like this for 2 1/2 days started the break-in process over and gained about 30 hp. when we got done.
So the dusting will work on an old Massey.
