Second Ford took no TARP money, Ford Credit did take some with just about every other car manufacturer credit company. Ford also did take some non-tarp money when congress accelerated the CAFE ratings by about 4 years to develop the ecoboost engines.

We could get into how all the shareholders of GM got screwed in order for the wonderful UAW get full funding after the bankruptcy and not much different happened with Chrysler. At least the UAW had to take some ownership there instead of just leaching all the money out like it did with GM. But hey they only make about $70/hr in wages and benefits, must be tough. With a defined benefit retirement as well. Just imagine if Ford could move everything to a right to work state and break the union and get back to real world wages.
