| I am in the process of trading a piece of equipment for a new piece. The new item will not be delivered for several months. The dealer wants to come and get mine now, because (I am sure) he can rent it out and get some money from it. What are your thoughts? Mine is that I ought to get part of the rent, or he should buy it from me now, and I will pay him that amount, plus the agreed trade difference when the new equipment is delivered. That way, he owns the old equipment, and I could care less what he does with it. | |
