NC ND | no one wants to help because they've seen it too many times. Either addiction or mental illness, or even just plain old don't give a damn. Any one of those three and you can't do a thing to help them until they have the desire to improve their situation. And before you say it, yes sometimes one persons help makes the difference in someones life. But the chances of you being that person at the right time are slim, and that is why everyone you talked to didn't have the same feeling to help as you did. You obviously are intelligent enough to realize you couldn't jeapordize your life trying to help someone, but it doesn't hurt to do something in your life to help others either. | |
