Iowa
glad he is ok. I had a situation like that one time. I bought 25 black angus cows off a guy one time. Now you have to understand I grew up around dairy cattle and had never been around beef cows. Well one morning one had a calf so I walked out in the field to check on the calf and tag it. Walked right up to calf and tagged it and the cow went crazy. She charged me and got me down. Then my australian shepherd runs out and rips the cow a new one while i was able to get away. So I called the neighbor and told him what happened. He said you did what! Angus cows are not holsteins you dumba$$. Needless to say I learned my lesson that day. Beef cows with calves are nuts.
